After watching the Petrol Age on Sky Atlantic last week I had to track down the DB5 used in it because it’s a fantastic example of British Car Design.

This Aston Martin 1964 DB5 is currently up for sale at http://www.coys.co.uk/showrooms.php?itemID=942  Price not listed.

The DB5 was made famous from it’s use in James Bond films starting with Goldfinger.

The DB name for Aston Martin cars is named after David Brown who bought the company in 1947 for £20,500.

An interesting connection between Aston Martin and Lamborghini is that both David Brown and Ferruccio Lamborghini started out as a tractor builders before moving into cars.
